Founded in 1968, Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. (YME) is the regional headquarters of the Yamaha Motor Company in Europe, located in Schiphol-Rijk (NL).
YME is responsible for coordinating the marketing and sales activities of Yamaha Motor products in the European marketplace, mainly: Yamaha motorcycles and scooters, marine outboard engines, WaveRunner water vehicles, 4-wheel all terrain vehicles (ATV’s), golf cars, snowmobiles and generators.
For close to half a century, Yamaha Motor has been bringing pleasure to millions of people by using ingenuity and enthusiasm to constantly surpass customer expectations, thereby enriching their lives.
A Japanese term concisely summarizes these feelings: ‘Kando’. Kando describes the sensation of profound excitement and gratification derived from experiencing supreme quality and performance.
‘Muda’ is another Japanese term and comprises all kinds of ‘waste’. Amongst other topics, Muda refers to those activities that do not add value. That is why YME has decided, several years ago, to use the Placard. This label holding device helps the company to avoid any time-consuming cleaning operation for the removal of adhesive labels from their reusable transport items that are used in the logistics centre for spare parts and accessories in Schiphol-Rijk.
